Mario Avati Prix de Gravure 2021

In November 2021 I won the prestigues Mario Avati Prix de Gravure at the Academie des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. That was something I will never forget. I thought that I was immume for honour; well, I can fairly state that is not true! Ger Luijten asked me more than once to fill in the form for purchasing this price... Sadly Ger Luijten (66) died very suddenly in december 2022.. That was a big shock for his family, friends and the artscene. The world has lost a true art lover and promotor of drawing and painting... We will miss him...
